Getting ready for a full season, took a couple of days creating a gallery of flower varieties for DIY/à la carte weddings and events, and for retail florists in 2023. We expect to have these in available in quantities for medium-large sized orders.
This replaces a fairly clunky spreadsheet that I put together a couple of years ago. (Tipped off to using Airtable for the layout by to a webinar sponsored by the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers (ASCFG). I will be updating the list throughout the season, adding tips and descriptions, and tightening up the expected bloom times and availability.
If you are considering a DIY event this year, please get in touch ASAP! Seeds for the season are being sown now.
Also: bumped up 50 Phlox 'Cherry Caramel' to 2" blocks. This first batch will go in the hoophouse if they don't get too big before the weather moderates. 13F for the low last night - gray, windy and snowy today. Spring might be just around the corner, but they don't tell you which corner that might be.
